Simrishamn – Prebona AB (publ) today announces that the company will start a collaboration with OptiFreeze AB. OptiFreeze has a patented technology that preserves and extends the sustainability of vegetables, fruits, cut flowers and other plants while preserving taste, color and smell. The collaboration will be conducted within the framework of the existing agreements that both companies have with Syngenta Flowers.
Prebona has entered into a collaboration with OptiFreeze in evaluating some of Prebona’s effective and environmental products for use in the agricultural sector.
OptiFreeze will initially evaluate Prebona’s products in combination with its own unique technology to extend the life of flowers and plants.
“The collaboration agreement is based on finding smart synergies between two very innovative Swedish companies and then introducing new solutions in the world market through the collaboration with Syngenta, one of the world’s leading global distributors. With OptiFreeze we get a very competent and innovative partner in a segment that I believes that there is great potential for Prebona’s products, “says Patrik Bernstein, CEO Prebona AB.
“For OptiFreeze, it is of strategic importance to be able to offer different types of functions in the area of sustainability and for plant protection. Since both we and Prebona have a strong relationship with Syngenta, this is a natural collaboration that hopefully gives us the opportunity to present an even stronger customer offer “comments Ulf Hagman, CEO OptiFreeze AB.
