Prebona receives Bluesign environmental certification
Simrishamn – Prebona AB (publ) today announced that the company has obtained the Bluesign environmental certification for the product Prebona OdorControl and has thus become Bluesign system partner.
The environmental certification Bluesign is the leading global certification of products in the textile industry that helps manufacturers make conscious choices regarding the environment and sustainability when purchasing ingredients, textiles and clothing, and to meet the increased environmental demands of the textiles industry on products and materials. Prebona OdorControl is included in the register Bluesign FINDER, which means that when textile companies are looking for environmentally approved odor elimination solutions, Prebona OdorControl comes up. In addition, as the only Bluesign certified non-biocidal product in the world.
Prebona OdorControl is used to eliminate bad odors, including textiles for clothes, furniture and vehicle seats. Independent tests show that Prebona OdorControl reduces odor from, for example, sweat and smoke by up to 99% according to ISO 17299. Prebona has a close collaboration with Polygiene, one of the leading companies in the field of textile odor elimination, and which offers global apparel manufacturers technology for odorless clothes.
